Legal & privacy

Clear boundaries around the evidence.

Elethya currently provides a public-evidence assessment service. The customer interface does not accept private documents, sensitive case material or protected evidence.

Public questions

Elethya accepts questions and optional public context, searches publicly obtainable material and returns a governed conclusion or an explicit pre-Finding state when the evidence does not justify a stronger result.

Do not submit personal data about private individuals, confidential documents, legally privileged material, commercially sensitive evidence or material you do not have a right to disclose.

Conversation history

The Elethya website stores the conversation history shown in the left-hand history panel locally in your browser so you can reopen earlier questions. This browser history is separate from the governed evidence repository and does not turn prior Elethya answers into new evidence.

Governed knowledge and publication

Where retention is permitted, eligible governed knowledge may be preserved for future assessments with its provenance, epistemic status, limitations and uncertainty. Publication is a separate governed decision; completed work is not automatically made public.

Evidence assessment, not regulated advice

Elethya is intended to organise evidence, test provenance, distinguish evidence from inference and assumption, identify contradiction and missing information, and record bounded conclusions. It does not replace legal, financial, medical, investment, engineering or other regulated professional advice.

No guarantee or certification

  • Elethya does not guarantee that a decision or outcome will be correct or successful.
  • Elethya does not certify evidence that cannot be independently established.
  • New evidence may change a conclusion.
  • Confidence statements apply only to the evidence and scope identified in the relevant assessment.
